I just made an account, http://neopawz.freehostia.com/

How do you add the html to the index and stuff? As in, where do you go to add it? Sorry if it's a stupid question, but I am so confused!! :(

Either use ftp. I think it will be ftp://beopawz.freehostia.com. Or you can use the file upload tool in the file manager part of the control panel - http://cp.freehostia.com

Ok, thanks! How do you have a file as your index useing the file upload, though?

I want my index to be: http://cp.freehostia.com/members/filema ... file=Index

But I don't know how to get it out of the file manager and onto the index.

(Ignore the links on the layout too, I'm moving to this host)

In order to open your Index at: http://neopawz.freehostia.com/ you need to upload your files in /www/neopawz.freehostia.com/. Else please do not use links from your Control Panel's File Manager, because these links are working only for when you're log at your account.

Ok, thanks! I uploaded the file name, 'file' to that location, but it still didn't come out as the index. It came out as: http://neopawz.freehostia.com/file.html
I'm not really sure what I did wrong.

And sorry about posting the file manager url, before.

To rename the file file.html to index.html, you click on the box next to select it, and look for a button that says rename.

A dialogue should appear, and you should type in index.html .

If you require further knowledge about what to do, there is allways those lovely video tutorials which teach how to use the controls. (these video files arnt big either and load quickly on a 256k connection)
