This site features working demonstrations of the frontend and backend (admin panel) of most/all of the open source software currently available.

Opensource is free.

Cms's / portals are the easiest way to make nice looking websites using wysiwyg(what you see is what you get) editing.

I use a cms called Joomla. There are many templates out on the web which are relativly easy to download and install, to give it a customised look.

Might i also add, that everything ive used runs perfectly on freehostia.


It might take a little installing, but is usually easy.

If youre still unsure about the installation thing, or want to save ALLOT of time, check out the elefante free scrips in the tools section of freehostia for preinstalled scripts, which are much easier to get up and running and quicker with just a couple of clicks.

They rock!
