Hi,

On my web-site, I would like to make a way that users
can enter their password in a 'text' input.

However I need a secure network before sending their
password.

How do I do it? :)

Thanks.

Sorry, I don't understand. :?

For example, look at the freehostias home page. at the top of the screen is a from for you to enter your username and password. when you have, the browser establishes a secure network and sends the data to the server. :)

Login/registration/changing of account info/lost password

sound like exactly what you are looking for, although it also sounds like you might want to install a premade script, maybe wordpress or similar.

I think what you're really looking for here is to be able to create a secure connection between your site and the user's browser. I believe what you need to do this is a ssl certificate. I haven't done this before (though I am somewhat interested, so I'm glad you asked...).

I think its a three step process:

1) Generate an ssl request: https://cp.freehostia.com/tutorials/sup ... st_csr.htm
2) Submit your request to a certificate authority (??? not sure how)
3) upload your certificate to your website: https://cp.freehostia.com/tutorials/sup ... ficate.htm

This will allow encrypted communications between user's browsers and your site.

Hope that helps, let us know if you work this out. Also you might want to open a ticket with freehostia to have them help you more.

Hello,

1) If you want you can create a password protection area for your site via Control Panel Password Protection Area menu. Then your site member will be able to access the protected folder/file only with a username and password.

2) Also you can set a loing form our your site like this one:
