Hello!

First of all, I am French so I apologize for my bad english

Secondly, I signed up for a Value Account (not the free hosting) because I wanted to be able to install a phpbb forum on my website with the mail function fully working (I want to activate confirmation emails). I was hosted by Lycos UK (free hosting) but this is not reliable

It seems that this function is actually activated for my account but when I tested it, I didn't receive anything :(

I entered my Gmail adress as the admin email adress (in the administration panel) as I did for my Lycos account but it does not work.

Could you help me to configure the mail function with my Gmail adress for my phpbb forum?

Thanks a lot.

You need to host an active with our servers domain name and create a mailbox at it. After this set this mailbox as the administrator's email and the mail() function of php will work.
