Post subject:  PHP Scripts?

I can't send mail from PHP scripts for some reason.
I have tried the examples in the help section and I still have not received them.
I am sending them to my domain e-mails addresses and I have the value pack and my SMTP is working just fine and I can send e-mail with it but I can't send e-mail from PHP scripts...
Please help!

Thanks.

I have a related problem. I'm a beginner so I thought it'd be easier to post to this thread. I signed up for a free acount and I've been experimenting with Mambo Plus. Do php send mail functions not work with the free accounts? The activation emails would not get sent out after registering a new user name. I tried to use an outside smtp server in phpBB settings but whenever I attempted to register, it would tell me 'permission denied.' Are these functionalities just not available for free accounts or am I missing something? Thanks!

I don't know if you've read this yet but it's a good place to start, it is the FAQ and has a section on email

You have to sign up for a value account to get SMTP access.
I have already done that and it is not working for me. :(

Did you open a ticket? If you haven't please do so, the support team will help you promptly with this problem.

You could also check the following - either one of the TO or FROM addresses in your script must be an email hosted in the same web hosting account as the script, so make sure you have set this correctly.

Yea, I have opened a ticket, they're contacting the administrators, and I have tried what you said.
