Hi,

I'm new and i've just registered a new freehostia "chocolate" account.
I received an email which says me :

IMPORTANT!!!
Please change the DNS of your domain to the following and allow 24-48 hours for the DNS update:
dns1.freehostia.com
dns2.freehostia.com


Where i should go to do that? How i do that?

You have probably created only a Free subdomain name for your account with us such as "yourname.freehostia.com" and no further changes have to be performed for it. The subdomain name is fully operational already. If not please open a trouble ticket from your account with us so we will be able to investigate this issue for you. You will be able to do this via the Open New Ticket menu of your account control panel Help Center section.

In the Welcome E-Mail are also provided our name servers in case you wish to host your own existing domain name that is not registered with us. In order to do so you will have to add the domain name to the Hosted Domains menu of your account control panel with us. After that you will have to set our name servers for your domain name. Required Name Servers (NS) for the domain name to be operational with your account are:

dns1.freehostia.com
dns2.freehostia.com

In order to set our name servers for your domain name you will have to access the account provided from your domain name registrar for managing your domain name and to search for an option: "Edit NSs" or something similar. If you experience any problems I would advise you to contact your domain name registrar technical support so they will be able to assist you in this case.
If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to contact us again.
