Hi I am getting a fatal error on my gallery page http://johdeb.freehostia.com/Coppermine/ and I am totally stumped as to why. I haven't edited anything at all on it and was working ok. Any ideas on what would cause this??

Hmm ... can you provide us with some details about this?

I'm not into Coppermine, but since it's a ready-to-use script, there has to abe a logical explanation for this.

Also, check on the permissions of the main folder - unless it's specified I believe they should be set to 755.

Another thing to check is if the database connection details are correct - this 'Fatal Error' message doesn't tell much but it's worth taking a look at the configuration file and making sure that the details are OK:

Database name: the name of the database you're going to use for the gallery
Database username: it's the same as the database name
Database password: The one you had assigned to the database
Database Host: Check on the 'SQL Databases' section of the control panel - it shoul;d te written right below the list of databases.

Well now I am getting this if this says anything

Warning: main(include/init.inc.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/www/johdeb.freehostia.com/Coppermine/index.php on line 59
Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'include/init.inc.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/www/johdeb.freehostia.com/Coppermine/index.php on line 59

I went ahead and changed the permissions on the "include/init.inc.php" folder from 644 to 755, but no avail

My PHPs have worked fine with 644 till now so I doubt it's the permissions' fault.

Better open a new trouble ticket from the control and ask the support team if they can help out.
