Hello

My website is marista2011.freehostia.com, I noticed that my images take to long to load (( it shows like a crash pic on the top right )) y even added the loading words. I used microsoft publisher to make the site, does that have to do with it ??

Or just because its a free subdomain???

PLz help.

Some of the images are in PNG format better off using jpg or gif. I also noticed on some pages the images are not displaying correctly because of a problem with the code and publisher.

I would recommend using something different to create the pages such as Macromedia Dreamweaver, there are also a few free WYSIWYG editors (What You See Is What You Get).

But over all on that front page the load time wasn't too bad.

a WYSIWYG (aka What You See Is What You Get) is where you put everything on the page and it will create the HTML for it, like Publisher does. But these programs are designed for that one porpoise while Publisher isnt. If you have publisher its likaly you also have Frountpage.

All you had to do was edit your images in an image authoring program e.g. Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop and resave it as a .jpg or .gif

I believe those two programs would've done everything so you won't lose any quality.
