Guys it looks like finally phpbb 3 has been released. Its now phpbb 3.00 :D I'm just wondering will you update to servers so we can run phpbb 3 with out problems and would it be available to download under php scripts! :)

Hello,

The phpbb3 works fine with our servers. However, we are not considering on putting the script in the "Elefante Installer" soon.

phpbb 3 looks too much like the older versions of IPB. It's not bad but I dont think I will use it. I'll stick with SMF - or IPB on a forum host.

phpbb requires monthly updating, let alone the technical knowledge required to add mods, etc...
so really, if you can't install it yourself, you likely aren't going to be able to maintain it properly anyways.
for that matter, there are a few scripts already available to install that in my opinion, probably shouldn't be.
