First off I want to say that this is the best hosting service that I've come across, thank you guys.

After many months as a free account holder, I decided the other day that in order to hold files larger than 500Kb (plus other reasons) I would purchase an account here.
Again, the service that I received was second to none.
I also purchased a second domain name. All went very smoothly and extremely quickly.

FANTASTIC

So I have a small problem.

I used the script installer to install a couple of scripts.
One is the SIMPLE MACHINES FORUM, again fantastic; I and a friend have started work on the board, two separate users from two separate locations, great!

A third friend wants to join, but he continually gets the ERROR 404 page.

I have tried a number of suggestions but to no avail, so can anyone here help? PLEASE.

My website ULR

http://www.bodgit-scarper.com/index.html

And my forum ULR

http://forums.bodgit-scarper.com/index.php

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, again.

Hello,

If your friend is from a country which IP ranges are in our blacklist then he won't be able to access your website. We are waiting for your reply.

Hi, No, I don't know the IP address numbers, but the IP is xnet.co.nz, part of WorldXchange.

Is this enough or can you tell us how to find his numbers?

Thanks very much for your help so far.

My friend has copied his IP address to me.

Quote:
Your IP address is 118.90.52.149

I hope this is of some help to resolving my little issue...

Thanks, again.

I don't wish to appear pushy on this subject, but is there a conclusion to this issue?

I would like to let my friend know that he should try again.

i was hoping that someone from support would reply as im not sure on the filtered ip range. Tell him to try a proxy such as http://hidemyass.com (one of the pain in the backsides i have to deal with in work to stop kids accessing filtered sites) and see if he is able to browse to the site then.
