Are the subdomains offered in http://freedns.afraid.org allowed to be placed in the "Hosted Domains" part?

For example: I registered a subdomain in FreeDNS named: "http://unix.dre.am" and since FreeDNS has some space there to put DNS, MX, etc records I placed FreeHostia's DNS records there.

I registered "http://www.unix.dre.am" as a "Hosted Domain" in my FreeHostia account.

It worked.

I was wondering if what I did was allowed?

I don't want any trouble in the near future that's for sure... Hope you can reply to this query of mine.

Sorry but the service do not allow the domains / subdomains to be pointed to our DNS'es. I suggest you to try the uni.cc free domain registrar.

Take a look at this: DNS Report for lost-moon.uni.cc

Refer to the FAIL in the Acceptance of postmaster address.

To tell you the truth, it worked quite well the last time I registered a uni.cc domain (leires.uni.cc), I later decided to delete that domain because I didn't like the name anymore. So I registered lost-moon.uni.cc. The problem now is, it doesn't seem to work...

What's wrong?? I hope someone can answer this query of mine

Wow thanks!
What you said was right! Although it said in the "Hosted Domains" part that the domain hadn't propagated yet, I already had ftp access and upload in my account. Also, I was able to install in no problem.

Thanks tons for the help!

I just found out that the domain is ok in dnsreport and in freehostia just now! :D
