Hello, I would like to try the Chocolate web hosting plan but I do not have any domain name (and do not want to have one). I was wondering whether I could sign up for this plan and have a subdomain sitename.freehostia.com. It does not seem possible in the sign up page. Thank you in advance for your help, Elizabeth. |

Hello, I am afraid that our supervisors have decided to stop creation of a new subdomains in our system with all of our hosting packages, because we have received many abuse reports regarding phishing / scam sites hosted with our (.freehostia) subdomains. Please note that all of the created .freehostia.com subodmains will stay operational, but if you remove any of them from your hosting account you won't be able to re-create it due the same reason. In this situation the only way to use your hosting account with us is to register or transfer a domain to it. This can be done during the sign up process on step one. Bear in mind that following free domains (Co.CC .TK .vv.cc) are blacklisted on our service too, therefore you are not able to transfer or host a domain with one of these TLDs in your hosting account with us. |
