I noticed that my database search is no longer Accessable during this migration, will the connections be restored when the migration is over?

Hello,

Yes, that is correct. All services will become operational as they should once the process is completed.
We will post an update once the process is completed.
Thank you for your time and understanding regarding this matter.

New update says that phpmyadmin area will not available for 24-48 hours. When I try to connect my website is says "Database connection error (2): Could not connect to MySQL." Should I wait phpmyadmin to be available, or should I contact for support?

Hi,

I now cannot extract data from external sites:

[function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: Permission denied

Have you somehow disabled it?

Hello.

After migration I cannot access my site via FTP. It says "500 service anavailable". Is FTP not working yet or should I change something in my FTP config?

Thanks.

Hallo,

I'm using Wordpress for my website. It is down since several days with 404 errors: The requested URL was not found on this server.
I suspect it is also cause by database problems, but not very sure.

Should I just wait until the whole migration is over, or is there anything I should reconfigure in the Wordpress?

Anyone could help me on this?

Thanks,

Hi yilhua,

The things that I had to change to get my web-sites back up were:

Change mysql database server address from sqlx.freehostia.com to localhost.

If your web-site grabs info from other sites, you will need to either de-activate blocking of outgoing connections, or enable specific connection attempts, as indicated in your control panel Advanced > Outgoing Connections page.

The Support Ticket system is now working, so you can ask for direct help (Help > Open Support Ticket).

The php mail from within a web-site script is still not working.
