Just wondering how many of you use Linux and which distro you like best.
I have been playing with it the last couple days(A live CD called knoppix)
And I really must say it is really sweet!
I bought a second hard drive that should be in tomorrow (Crosses fingers )
And I will be installing Mandriva.

I have used Mandriva in the past (when it was called Mandrake) but I didn't like it so much. I want to try SUSE though.

Hum..
From what I've heard you can install more that one version on one HD without formatting the HD because Linux can make it's own partitions.
So getting trying another shouldn't be a problem :)

The guy who recommended Mandriva said it is one of the more configurable versions... But hes been using Linux for 10 years so... I'm guessing it might be a little hard to get used to, But I'm up to a challenge :D

Mandriva seems quite easy to setup. I am using it, but I have been siggested to get SUSE by many of my colleagues. I guess I will give it a try too.

I was using good ol redhat for a while.

Since then we switched to a hard-driveless installation of puppy linux so you cant hear the hdd going all the time, and the cd only runs when its being saved to. The machines on all the time as our internet gateway/firewall, so we figured itd be nicer if we didnt have to listen to it all the time.
