Starting from today, you will need to be using ftp.freehostia.com as an FTP host name (FTP server name) to connect to your web hosting account via FTP instead of using your domain/subdomain.

For a limited period of time, you will be able to continue using your old FTP hostname(s), but we encourage you to update your FTP client’s settings (if you have previously saved them) to use the new FTP host: ftp.freehostia.com.

This update is necessary as we are making changes to our cluster hosting platform, which will eventually allow us to deliver 100% uptime. There is still a lot to be done before we get to the final cluster hosting stage, but we are working hard to achieve this as soon as possible.
