Within the next few hours, the hex15 server will undergo a hardware upgrade. We will be adding 4GB of RAM to improve the productivity of the server. The upgrade will be offline for about 20 minutes. We will do our best to do things as fast as possible and minimize the downtime.

Along with the continuing software updates, this hardware upgrade would help us improve the overall productivity and stability of the server.

UPDATE: Unfortunately the technicians at the data center failed to upgrade the server because of a problem with the RAM module. We are postponing the upgrade, it will be performed within a few days. The server is back online.

UPDATE: We have decided to give it another try with a different RAM module, so the server is offline again and being upgraded. I will post a comment to this topic as soon as we have news.

The server is now back online. The RAM upgrade went OK. We have also updated the BIOS of the server, which we believe will fix some problems that we (and probably you too) have noticed lately.
