DETAILS:
1.) Yesterday I purchased my domain name on godaddy for a new word press blog that I want to set up.
2.) So I then created a Google Apps Account, to use for email and set it up with godaddy. Verified everything and got email working.
3.) Upon doing research for self-hosting, I came across a few recommendations to use freehostia and decided to because well hey it's free.
4.) I then changed the name servers as instructed then my email stopped working. After reading the forums I tried several different options, added the CNAME & MX Records:
CNAME
imap ghs.google.com
mail ghs.google.com
calendar ghs.google.com
docs ghs.google.com
MX Records
10 ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
20 ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
30 ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
40 ASPMX2.GOOGLEMAIL.COM
50 ASPMX3.GOOGLEMAIL.COM

PROBLEM:
Now when I try to send an email to my freehostia hosted domain I get the following error:
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
XXXXXX (at) XXXXXXX.com
Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 relay not permitted (state 14).
I am however able to send emails from it
