autoresponse contains lots of extra unwanted content

Hello,
I have set up an email info@domainname.com & activated auto-response. A hyperlink in the site opens outlook & you can send your mail. The autoresponse worked almost immediately (great) but not only did it return the autoresponse text I have set, it returned a huge amount of formatting information in html (i think) form, such as:

margin-bottom:3.0pt;
margin-left:0cm;
page-break-after:avoid;
font-size:18.0pt;
font-family:Arial;
font-weight:bold;}

There has to be about 200 lines of this in the response mail. Can you help me stop this from happening or do I need to start a ticket linked to my hosting account?
