Hello, We have an AD domain with 3 DCs (all providing local DNS services). One of our Win11 domain joined computers is having an issue where they are unable to access the file server. They are able to surf the web, get their email in Outlook, etc. so network functionality is there (both wired and wireless). When doing an nslookup from an elevated command prompt it returns the name and IP of the DNS server its using but entering the same DNS server name at the prompt returns a "non-existent domain" error. Entering the IP of the DNS server returns the correct info. All DNS tests pass on the 3 DCs. Other domain joined computers on the same wired/wireless network aren't having the issue. I have tried flushing DNS, reregistering with DNS, removing the computer from the domain (can't rejoin because it can't find the DCs), doing a network reset on the computer, removing the A record and associated pointer from DNS on the DCs, and doing a reset of the computer. Nothing is working. Pinging the DCs by name work. What else should I try?
