Hello, im completely noob to wed domain and hosting. When i look to buy a web domain on google domain it's $12. But when i go to a website that will host my website, they gave me the option to buy the same domain( not use since i didnt buy from google domain) for a higher price or use a domain i have. Im just confuse here why i would need to buy a same name domain from the website that host when i can get it cheaper from google domain. Is there a different from buying domain from different seller? The price of a domain registration is different with different registrars. Many of them have higher prices for registrations as they also offer hosting options for the domain. With some of our plans, like Supernatural and Wildhoney, we offer a free domain registration with the hosting account.
