I understand that for security reasons, ‘Options +FollowSymlinks’ and ‘Options +SymlinksIfOwnerMatch’, are not available in .htaccess files. Are there any alternative suggestions that someone could point me too please, where I can ‘cut-and-paste’. I can provide username if ADMIN requests - Hi Alan. It would be a HUGE help and will bring 2 months of hard searching/trial and error to an end.   Thanking you in advance James |

Hello, Our system does not allow any Options directives to be modified via .htaccess file, thus you should not use them or try to modify them. You should comment with a hash # symbol to disable them or remove them from .htaccess file and website will be operational. Servers have these directives setup by default thus there should be no trouble to run your website. If there is anything else we can help with, feel free to write. |
