Hello,
I took the exemple from w3schools.com in case there would be a problem from my code, but no, it's definitely not working... why are the <?php and ?> tags not being recognized in html files?

Dorian

hmm, you probably need to rename the file with a .php extention.

ie: index.php instead of index.html

if that doesn't do it, show us some of the code please.(careful, no passwords, etc)

You were right
In fact I thought that changing the extension html to php will make the html code unreadable... but it seems it's not true.
Thanks a lot :D
