So, what do I have to enable to make "templates" like this? So far I have saved the file into a .php file and added the < ?php require("xxx.php"); ?> line, but it won't use it, for whatever reason.

What extra step am I missing?

powersurge360, do you get any error messages? try require_once("file.php");

is it in the same folder and the one calling it?
