Hi, I apologize if this is in the wrong area, I saw that you have an area for css problems, but since this is related to the software I am using, I thoght that this would be the area to post. I am having a bit of trouble with my site..
An image that I was using as a background, and the title section of my stats block has disappeared. When I go to the site, they are missing on the blocks that show the weather, and visitor stats.
They are using the same exact images and text colors as the non-stats blocks, and I did not change anything but the colors and images.
I was working on another theme that matched this one on our forum, so that people can switch to the light theme if they had trouble seeing while using the dark theme.
and that was when I noticed that they were gone. At first, I thought that it was an issue with the skin I was working on, but when I switched the skin in my profile to the dark one, that was when I noticed that the images were gone from there as well.
I was very careful to copy my dark theme's folder, paste it and renamed everything, and disabling the original, so that it I wouldn't accidentally overwrite the dark theme's css. As I said earlier, I did not change anything else other than the image, and the color.
Why is this happening? Is there anyway to fix it?
As of 8:30 I have figured out the problem.. I had to re-apply the blocks for each skin. I don't know why that happened in the first place.. but I am glad that I was able to fix it.
---------------
Is there a way I can get the theme changer to show up to my site? I have already changed the permissions allowing people to change the skin, but, I would like to have a skin changer in a block, so they can change the skin without leaving the page.
Is there any way to do this?
---------------
And, is there any way to place an image in the areas behind the blocks? I tried adding an image to the area, and it did not work. (I undid my changes once I saw tht it didn't work..) What I'd like to do is use the background image from my last screenshot, and put that behind it. Or, at least make the lighter purple area transparent, (the one that is
directly behind the blocks) and then use the image, on the darkest area, and then fix the position so that the blocks would look like they were "floating" as you scroll.
Is there any way to do this? Thanks in advance for the help.
