I propose you make 3 or 5 databases
3db x 10mb = 30mb
5db x 10mb = 50mb

I think is not much and admins can make it.

More databases means more CPU usage, which means that we will be able to host less accounts on a single server. Our free plan is quite generous anyway, as to the paid ones, they are well priced too. Sorry.

say, is there a limit to the number of tables a database can hold or is it just defined by memory?

We only limit the MySQL space used and the number of databases, bit not the number of tables in each database.
