Hi I have a chocolate account and am trying to set up an email, but it doesn't seem to be working. It says "smtp 535 authentication failed" in the webmail. Sorry if this is a newb question or has been answered already.

Hello,
Please note that you are currently using our Chocolate/Free hosting plan, which does not allow you to send or forward emails (SMTP is disabled). Any kind of scripts that send emails will not work as either which is the reason for the problem that you experience.
Our paid hosting plans do not have this restriction so you will be able to send e-mails from your account with us. You can upgrade your web hosting plan from the "Change plan" section on your control panel, you will find the link on the left "Upgrades" menu.
Please note that you will have to set either the "TO" or the "FROM" filed of your e-mail form to be an operational e-mail address created with your account with us, so the mail form could be operational.
Upgrading to a paid hosting plan would also remove the 500KB file size limit, which the Free plan has, so you will be able to upload larger files. More detailed information about our hosting plans features and prices you are able to see here:
